Enumeration of March Susenas and Seruti Quarter I 2024

The National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) activity for March 2024 has reached the household enumeration stage. In this March 2024 Susenas, there are 54 census blocks, with 10 of them also being Seruti census blocks. Meanwhile, the total number of Susenas sample households is 540, with 100 of them also being Seruti samples.

Household enumeration for Susenas began on February 19 and will continue until March 9, 2024. Enumeration is conducted by Field Enumeration Officers (PCL) according to their assigned workload. Each PCL is assigned 1 to 2 census blocks with a sample size ranging from 10 to 20 households. Enumeration is carried out through direct interviews by visiting each sampled household.

Field supervisors also accompany the enumerators at the beginning of enumeration to ensure that the process follows established procedures. In addition to directly assisting enumerators in interviewing respondents, supervisors also ensure that the concepts and definitions of each question align with the guidelines and verify that no questions are missed.

By conducting household enumeration according to procedures, it is hoped that the quality of the Susenas data generated can accurately reflect the real conditions in the Sabu Raijua community and serve as a reference for the evaluation and planning of local government programs.
