DPRD Data Collection for Gender Empowerment Index (IDG) 2024 in Sabu Raijua Regency

Sabu Raijua, January 6, 2025 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sabu Raijua Regency has carried out data collection activities on the number of members of the Regency/City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) at the end of 2024. This data is sorted by gender, as part of the calculation of the 2024 Gender Empowerment Index (IDG).

The activity, which took place on January 6, 2025, was carried out by data collection officer Mr. Simon Laubila. The resource person interviewed in this activity was a representative from the Secretariat of the Sabu Raijua Regency DPRD, who was met at the local Regent's Office.

This data collection aims to support the calculation of the IDG which will provide an overview of the level of gender empowerment in Sabu Raijua Regency, as material for evaluation and development of more inclusive policies.
