August 2024 inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) Nusa Tenggara Province East by 1.22 percent.

Abstract

In August 2024 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Nusa Tenggara Province East by 1.22 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.09. The highest inflation occurred in Kupang City at 2.15 percent with a CPI of 105.35 and the highest deflation occurred in South Central Timor Regency at 0.88 percent with a CPI of 103.99.
August 2024 y-on-y inflation occurred due to the indicated price increase
by the increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food and beverage groups and tobacco by 1.24 percent; clothing and footwear group of 1.28 percent; health group by 0.45 percent; transportation group of 1.60 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.16 percent;
education group at 0.84 percent; food supply groups and
drinks/restaurants at 4.02 percent; and the personal care and services group others amounted to 6.15 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure group experienced decrease in index, namely: housing, water, electricity and home fuel groups stairs by 0.24 percent; equipment, tools and maintenance groups household routine by 0.01 percent; and information, communication, and groups financial services by 0.69 percent.
There was deflation month to month (m-to-m) in East Nusa Tenggara Province for for the August 2024 period is 0.25 percent. And there is also deflation year to date (y-to-d) East Nusa Tenggara Province in this period was 0.06 percent.
