September 2024 Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of 101.43, an increase of 1.21 percent when compared to August 2024

Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for September 2024 is based on the NTP calculation with the base year 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation includes 5 subsectors, namely the rice & secondary crops, horticulture, smallholder plantation crops, livestock and fisheries subsectors.
In September 2024, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP was 101.43 with the NTP for each subsector recorded at 99.34 for the rice and secondary crops subsector (NTP-P), 97.43 for the horticulture subsector (NTP-H); 104.73 for the smallholder plantation crops subsector (NTP-TPR); 109.13 for the livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 92.42 for the fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).
There was an increase of 1.21 percent in September 2024 when compared to the NTP in August 2024. This increase in the price index was caused by the development of the received price index which was faster than the paid price. This increase occurred in the Rice-Palawija Crops, People's Plantation Crops and Livestock Subsectors.
In rural areas there was deflation of 0.34 percent. This deflation mainly occurred in the food, beverage and tobacco subgroups.
